ENTRY GUIDELINES

Eligibility

Only LankaBangla employees can participate in the “Reflection of Passion” competition.

Entry Period

January 1^st, 2023 (opens at 09:00 A.M. Bangladesh standard time) to October 31^st, 2023 (closes at 6:00 p.m. Bangladesh standard time)

Theme

The subject of your photograph is "Nature of Bangladesh ". Beautiful Bangladesh and its’ plants, creatures and scenic beauty, all are included at the competition.

Submission Process

Enter the contest by providing the required information in the Register page on the website https://www.lankabangla.com/reflectionofpassion/

Step 1: - Registration & Login

On registration, you must provide accurate and complete information for successful registration
Each registration is for single user only. On registration, use any valid email address along with your LankaBangla Employee ID
You will get a verification mail at your email. (Please check Junk/Spam folder if you do not see the verification mail on your Inbox). After successful registration you can use your email address and password to log on to your profile and submit your photo.

Step 2:- Photo Submission

Photos must be taken by the participant.
Participant can upload maximum 3 (three) photographs on their individual contest profile. Your image should be no larger than 4 MB at the time of uploading to the Reflection of Passion Gallery.
The original photo resolution should meet the competition photo standard. Winners need to provide the original image in higher resolution JPEG for furthermore concern. Expected standard of the original photo is 3:2 ratio at 300 dpi and the expected resolution is 4500 x 3000 pixels.
Image-data file format: JPEG recommended
You should give i) Title of the image, ii) Location name where the image has been shot, iii) Device that has been used to capture the image, iv) Resolution of the image in pixels, v) DPI of the image and vi) Description of the image for each of your submitted photograph.

Entries from any digital cameras, including smartphones, will be accepted for LankaBangla Reflection of Passion Photography Contest.
Both color and monochrome images will be accepted.
The standard color space for the judging process is sRGB.
Entries are only accepted through proper method (competition website).
Note: Winners will be asked to provide higher resolution images as well as the non-edited version of the images

Participants need to accept all the mentioned rules and regulations by LBFL authority before uploading any images. If authority get to know that you breach any of the submission rule then the authority have the full right to cancel your submission.

Step 3: - Image Review

Only accepted images by judging panel will be uploaded on the website
Please note that no response will be given to any inquiries, complaints, or objections regarding the review/judges' decisions
Participants must check the PHOTOGRAPH GUIDELINE section to know about the appropriateness of the images before uploading any photographs in the LankaBangla Reflection of Passion Contest

Step 4: - Image Publish and Notification

Participants will be notified of their published entries on their respective email address
Participant can check their “My Images” section to check their photo submission status

Step 5: - Voting on the Reflection of Passion Gallery

Everyone who has entered the contest has the right to get votes on their Pictures only in the website
Participant can share the image link on their Facebook profile and invite their friends to vote on their images on the site gallery page only (www.lankabangla.com/reflectionofpassion)
A person needs to be logged in the facebook to Like and share their favorite image.
Please note that Likes on the shared link on personal profile, facebook newsfeed or timeline will not be count as vote
One (1) Facebook Like on the Gallery Photo should be counted as One (1) vote.
LBFL has the right to remove the Entries, if there is sufficient evidence to suggest malpractice and manipulation of the voting process.
The photographs will also be evaluated by the judging panel
Voting is scheduled from January 1st 2023 to October 31st 2023

Step 6: - Winner Selection

Winner will be selected based on Judges’ final decision.
Higher votes on photo gets priority in competition.
Please note that no response will be given to any inquiries, complaints, or objections regarding the review/judges' decisions
Winners need to provide the original image in higher resolution JPEG for furthermore concern. Expected resolution of the original image is 4500 x 3000 pixels at 300 dpi
Winners will be asked to provide higher resolution images as well as the non-edited version of the images
The judges' decision is final and irrevocable for the winner selection

Reward and Winning Photographs

The selected pictures of the winner will be published on 2024 Calendar of LankaBangla Finance Limited
No Monetary Reward will be provided to the owner of the photograph
LBFL reserves the right to publish all entries onto websites and social networking service accounts related to the contest after review. Some entries might be cropped for publication
The names of winners might be used for websites, printed materials, or other materials related to the Contest when introducing winning works.
Please note that when a winning work is used for furthermore concern, the tone or expressed meaning may not be strictly reproduced according to the winner's intent
