With the aim to protect the cold affected people of Rangpur district from the severity of winter, LankaBangla foundation took the initiative to organize a winter blankets distribution program at the Rangpur Lions School and College premises on January 4, 2025, under the supervision of LankaBangla Finance PLC.’s Dinajpur branch.

Managing Director of LankaBangla Finance PLC., Ms. Humaira Azam, attended the event as a special guest along with Rangpur Metropolitan Police Commissioner Md. Majid Ali, BPM as the Chief Guest of the program. The program was led by Md. Kamruzzaman Khan, Head of CMSME Division and Retail Finance Division of LankaBangla Finance PLC. During the event, several distinguished local personalities shared their thoughts, including Mr. Anwar Hossain, Head of Dinajpur Branch; Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman, Cluster Head of the North Region of LankaBangla Finance; prominent Rangpur businessman Khokon Sarkar; and top taxpayer Haji Md. Tanbir Hossain Ashrafi.

Through this blanket distribution program, we aimed to support those affected by the harsh winter and bring warmth and smiles to their lives.
