With the aim to protect the cold affected people of Chuadanga district from the severity of winter, LankaBangla foundation took the initiative to organize a winter blankets distribution program among more than four hundred people at the Karpasdanga Islamia Fazil BA Madrasa premises on January 4, 2025, under the supervision of LankaBangla Finance PLC.’s Kushtia branch.

The event was led by Abdul Malek, a prominent businessman and social worker of the Karpasdanga Bazaar, along with Naib Ali, a renowned social worker from Karpasdanga in Damurhuda Upazila who joined the event as chief guest. The chief guest praised the good initiative of LankaBangla Foundation for taking the cold-affected people’s well-being in mind. He also expressed his commitment to working alongside LankaBangla Finance’s Kushtia branch in the coming days for any such effort.

Among the prominent local personalities, Mohammad Shahadat Hossain, CMSME Cluster Head – South Region of LankaBangla Finance PLC.; Mohammad Ahsan Habib, Head of the Kushtia Branch; Relationship Managers Mohammad Nasir Uddin and Altaf Hossain were presented as the special guests.
