On March 4, 2024, LankaBangla Finance PLC. reaffirmed its commitment to making economic decisions with confidence and expertise, while enhancing awareness and knowledge about overall development, financial products and services in the country through the “Financial Literacy Day 2024” initiative. The Company aims to engage with customers on a deeper level and foster discussions on financial literacy and knowledge.

The initiative was marked by a virtual event held at the corporate office of LankaBangla Finance PLC., led by Managing Director & CEO Mr. Khwaja Shahriar. Furthermore, across 27 branches nationwide, branch managers conducted seminars with customers, focusing on topics such as general banking knowledge, customers rights and empowerment, various financial products and services offered by LankaBangla Finance, digital banking awareness, the importance of digital transactions and the significance of Financial Literacy Day.

During these seminars, branch managers engaged with customers to shed light on various subjects, ensuring that customers are well-informed to make sound financial decisions. The discussions encompassed areas such as banking knowledge, consumer rights, consumer empowerment, various financial products and services provided by LankaBangla Finance, digital banking familiarity, the necessity of digital transactions and the importance of Financial Literacy Day.
