Mastercard, LankaBangla Finance PLC., and Bangladesh Doctors Foundation Launches Co-Branded Credit Card for medical professionals

Mastercard, LankaBangla Finance PLC. (LBF), and Bangladesh Doctors Foundation (BDF) have jointly launched their first co-branded LankaBangla Mastercard Titanium credit card, exclusively designed for esteemed medical professionals. Cardholders will be able to enjoy exclusive benefits, discounts and deals at renowned Mastercard partners as well as lifestyle amenities. The launch event took place at the LankaBangla Head Office, Safura Tower in a simple yet elegant ceremony.

All BDF members, including all doctors, staffs and their family members, can now avail themselves of the LankaBangla & BDF co-branded LankaBangla Mastercard Titanium credit card and its supplementary cards. Eligible doctors, particularly those at the level of Assistant Professor and above, will enjoy a lifetime annual fee waiver. Other members will benefit from a two-year annual fee waiver, with subsequent years’ fees waived upon making 12 transactions in the previous year. Furthermore, LankaBangla Finance is offering an array of exclusive benefits and discounts through Mastercard’s extensive network of over 10,000 partner outlets nationwide. These benefits include attractive offers such as “Buy One, Get One” (BOGO) deals at renowned city hotels and special discounts on dining and lifestyle expenses.

Cardholders can also take advantage of the “Buy Now, Pay Later” feature at 0% interest, with up to 36 ezypay installments available through LankaBangla’s partner outlets. Additionally, cardholders will receive three complimentary access passes per calendar year to the “Balaka Executive Lounge” at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (International) or “MTB Air Lounge” at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport (International), Cox’s Bazar Airport (Domestic), Osmani International Airport (Domestic), and Shah Amanat International Airport (Domestic). Moreover, BDF doctors will benefit from unlimited Meet & Greet Service at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. They can also avail up to two supplementary cards, allowing their family members to benefit from LankaBangla Mastercard credit card services. Cardholders will enjoy a seamless banking experience with 98% cash transfer through cheques and BEFTN, a hassle-free ezypay facility, and access to Soft Loan and Quick Loan facilities. Additionally, the ezypay installment facility offers reduced interest rates of 10% for up to 12 months EMI for tuition fee payments, compared to the regular rate of 11.15%.
